Arifa has been a longtime certified teacher in Canada. It has always been her dream to help children in need - if one has a good childhood, they have an even better future. After facing challenges trying to work at a nonprofit in Canada, she instead moved back to Pakistan to help children and parents make a better future for themselves.  

She not only fulfilled her dreams but surpassed many obstacles - with over 25 years of experience with children, Arifa eventually started an organization that helps people understand how important it is to help those in need.  

It is how we can help everyone on the poverty line succeed.  

She and her husband are both the driving force of Roshan Trust and partnering with Syed Pillar to promote and maintain their school in Lahore. Outside of working with Syed Pillar, her organization also assists in building water wells and mosques, as well as providing essential needs to the underserved.
